This is how seriously you should take me.

I am a walking catastrophe who loves a good road trip. I have driven more miles at 23 than many people will in their entire lives. My life is powered by self-inflicted absurdity. Highlights on my long list of things I struggle with include: being on time, taking things seriously, and walking.

I have an ongoing love affair with glitter, tacky makeup, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and other drag queen staples. Other obsessions: tie-dye, awful television, snarking on my favorite books from my childhood, and changing my life plans more often than my underwear (and sharing uncomfortable information). I consume entire pots of coffee daily, and hate sitting still. These last two things might be related.

I recently started graduate school in Paris, working on a degree in communicating my desire to eat lots and lots of croissants. Or something like that. I have vehemently refused to give up on cheap wine; Paris, fortunately, supports this life choice.

I dearly miss my little sister and former frequent partner in crime, Lion. I’m also struggling with the separation from my car, Lola, named for the tranny of The Kinks fame. (But proper public transportation is pretty sweet.)
