Paris Photobooth

Paris is every single bit as lovely and charming and awesome and all of these other superb adjectives as I expected it to be. However, for all the time I spend saying this, it seems like it might be a bit more productive to actually show it off.

I seldom break out my amazing-but-clunky DSLR, partially because of the space it takes up in my bag, but mostly because it is just so awkward and obtrusive. One of the many great things about Paris, however, is that all you need is a cell phone camera to get the point across: this city is just really pretty.

And so I bring you a photo tour through my week in Paris, starting with last Tuesday:

Stumbled across this on my way to the Denfert-Rochereau Metro. (I promise that I did leave him money before appropriating his art for blog fodder.)

MERCREDI: Running in the park. Paris may be urban, but you would be surprised by how much green you can find in this city.

JEUDI: Even the most nondescript of Parisian buildings are still ridiculously lovely.

VENDREDI: Sunset over the Seine.

SAMEDI: Yes, the French have amazing wine, but they are good at producing just about anything you eat or drink.

DIMANCHE: Odéon Metro. This has become one of my more frequented Paris locales.

LUNDI: Another day, another morning run. My week in Parisian photos would be incomplete without the Eiffel Tower.

MARDI: It has been a cloudy day, but the sun tried to peek through on my walk home from class.
